David is our main man-our lead singer. He may be the youngest in the family, but his voice is one for the ages. Below is a quick Q/A with David. We hope you have fun getting to know our favorite lead singer. Enjoy!
When did you start playing music? What instrument?
Probably age 7-ish. I played drums first and wanted to be a drummer like Scott. Played in the talent show at elementary school and all that. In middle school I tried out choir and fell in love with singing, especially jazz and vocal improv. I’ve been singing ever since and have picked up how to chord on piano, which helps with songwriting.
Do you have any hobbies outside of music?
Video games (pubg, sea of thieves, anthem, and apex legends) and sports; both playing and watching. Used to borrow my cousins Xbox back in the day to play Halo but then eventually got my own with Xbox live in middle school. I love playing pretty much any sport. But especially basketball and soccer. Played both all throughout my life. Love the Blazers and the Ducks!
If money were no object, what would you eat for dinner tonight?
Mac and cheese no doubt.
What is your favorite scene in The Office (U.S.)?
That’s impossible to say. As I have soooooo many but one of my favorites is when Jim impersonates Dwight. “Bears, beets, Battlestar Galactica.”
Have you ever been tempted to purchase something from a video ad?
ummmmm not really. Once I have been tempted, I’ll know I’m getting old though.
Are there any musical artists you think you'll always listen to? Even 20 years from now?
John Mayer for sure. His music is so timeless. I don’t think I will ever get tired of so many of his songs.
